18-YEAR-OLD BROOKLYNITE GETS HER ARTWORK PLACED IN THE MET

Cliffannie Forrester, a Brooklyn artist and 18 years old senior at Art and Design has good reason to be proud. Her oil-painted piece entitled, “Uganda” majestically sat in the prestigious Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan, New York until October 2016. Her painting, selected as a winner in a scholarship competition, was inspired by a trip she had taken to Uganda with her church mission.
