If you’re not familiar with Ayo, the Nigerian German songstress, then you’re truly missing out on good music.

This past weekend, at Ode To Babel, a new concept lifestyle bar in Crown Heights, Ayo came to life. The very inviting space, owned by twin sisters Marva and Myriam Babel, thought the name, Ode To Babel, given the biblical reference as well, would be an interesting twist as far as the reaction people would get from walking by. Each spirit and wines are from local Brooklyn businesses. The vibe of the space is one that would cause you to linger around and not just pop in to leave. Speaking briefly with the owners, they said that the best part about having a business with a sibling is the ability to give raw honest communication and be completely fine at the end.

The Japanese feng shui vibes, mixed with the lit candles, and the plants, and the scents of sandalwood that greeted you as you walked into the door was the whole cake, and Ayo’s performance was the icing with the cherry on top. Ayo gives you Bob Marley, sprinkled with Nina Simone, mixed with Sade, and doused with Lauryn Hill.
Well, for some people generico levitra on line find out to find out more who tend to believe everything they hear such a campaign can sound pretty honest and they will buy only branded variations regardless of the price.

She began her set saying that, “Music is supposed to be a feeling, it’s like an antibiotic to your soul, it gives you healing.” She is one of the absolute sweetest souls you’d ever meet. Her soft-spoken nature is no match for the various melodic pitches that her voice carries. It’s like the perfect balance.  Along with her mouth being an instrument that touches your soul, she also plays the hell out of a guitar. Her music is heavily influenced by soul, reggae, and afro beats. Ayo has her dad to thank for her exposure to music, as he was a DJ in the 70’s. She also stressed his importance in her life, claiming him as her hero, and the first man she fell in love with, he was the first person to show her what love is and what it meant.

Ayo is what music needs, and we have to try our absolute hardest to make the world know who she is. Did I mention that she also is a Brooklynite? Get yourself familiar, and tell a friend to tell a friend.
