This week, Starbucks announced their famous seasonal pumpkin spice latte will be returning on September 8th. This year, the coffee brand has decided to keep the fall drink all natural — using real pumpkin, and no caramel coloring.

“After hearing from customers and partners about ingredients, we took another look at this beverage and why we created it so many years ago,” Dukes, director of Espresso and Brewed Coffee for Starbucks, said in a statement. “It was simple – espresso, perfectly steamed milk, warm fall spices with delicious flavor of pumpkin pie that reminds you of the cool, crisp days of autumn. It’s the Pumpkin Spice Latte our customers have loved all along.”

Starbucks returning their most popular seasonal beverage of all time usually means the start of pumpkin season. And for the first time in a long time, we don’t have to wait until the October month to grab all the pumpkin flavored foods we can find.

Not everyone can understand the pumpkin hype, but let me help you out in figuring out why you need to hop on the orange flavored vegetable bandwagon.
