TAPPED Beer Festival Set To Debut At Barclays Center This Fall

Get ready for bottomless craft beers from over 40 different breweries in Brooklyn’s famous arena.

On Sunday, October 25th, TAPPED — a national craft beer, wine and food festival will debut at Barclays Center. The inaugural event will feature two, three hour sessions, each featuring more than 100 craft beers, wines and cider tastings.

“Brooklyn is known worldwide for its vibrant food and beverage scene so it’s only fitting that IMG is bringing this unique tasting event to Barclays Center,” Barclays Center CEO Brett Yormark said in a release. “I am proud that our Advisory Board is playing a key role in helping to bring a variety of special programming to the venue.”

Cigar City Brewing Co., Founders Brewing Co., and Stone Brewing Co. will headline TAPPED with samples of Jai Alai, All Day IPA and Arrogant Bastard Ale. Local breweries at TAPPED will include Brooklyn’s own Braven Brewing Company, KomBrewCha and War Flag.

And what’s beer without grub? Food lovers will have the opportunity to taste celebrity chef Josh Capon’s Bash Burger, a six-time winner of the New York Wine & Food Festival’s Burger Bash, among other award-winning food. The IMG-run event will also feature the best of Sunday football on TVs located throughout the arena and interactive games including cornhole, large-scale beer pong and Jenga.
