This past Sunday, we had the opportunity of attending an entrepreneurial brunch, “Go Hard Or Be Forgotten, Six Ways To Grow Your Business Brand In The Next Six Months,” held at The Tea Room on 452 Pine Street in East New York. The quaint café is owned by MTV & VH1 star, Tionna Smalls. The event, put together by entrepreneur Mirielle Edouard, founder of ReDefiningYou, was — to say the least — any entrepreneur’s dream. Everyone in attendance was either an entrepreneur, or aspiring to become one, and if you weren’t there, you definitely missed out but we made sure to stash some of the gems and deliver them to you.

Upon entering, we were greeted by Precious Edwards, the bartender of the day, who runs her own bartending business, titled, Bottled Celebrations. After filling our bellies with delicious food, the ice breaker was to go around the room and introduce ourselves, state what we did, and why we decided to start a business.

Later in the afternoon, we had the pleasure of listening to the lovely Ieasha Tiffany, wardrobe stylist and philanthropist, Mirielle Eduoard, brand manager and personal development coach, and the lady of the afternoon, Tionna Smalls. Each woman dropped jewels about their personal successes towards their own brand building.
