ASPCA's Mega Adoption Event 'Adoptapalooza' Is Headed To House of Vans

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), the first humane society to be established in North America, will be celebrating 150 years on Sunday, April 10th and they’re celebrating the milestone at House of Vans in Greenpoint.

Adoptapalooza, the ASPCA’s mega adoption event and community celebration, will be held on their anniversary from 11am-4pm. If you’re looking to adopt a pet, this event will feature nearly 100 adoptable animals and all adoption fees will be covered by ASPCA partner, Animal Planet.

The event will also feature meet & greets with celebrity pets, including Marnie the Dog, Mervin the Chihuahua, Chloe Kardoggian, and Ella Bean the Dog, a special exhibit of items from 150 years of ASPCA history, food trucks from Calexico, The Green Radish, and Yeah Dawg, a photo booth, giveaways, contests and more.
