Brooklyn-based rock band, Phony Ppl have just released a colorful visual to their latest single, “Why iii Love the Moon” off their forth album, Yesterday’s Tomorrow.

The group teamed up with Dawn of Man, a Brooklyn-based collective who specialize in project-art, to help direct the video. The video displays Phony Ppl riding around Brooklyn on their bikes, passing familiar places like Grand Army Plaza and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, as plants and group members pop-up graffiti style as backdrops.

“In our video, we wanted to open up and share our world in Brooklyn, a side of Brooklyn that’s hidden beneath what meets the eye,” Phony Ppl said told The FADER, who premiered the music video. “Our video combines projection art that illuminates our path as we ride our bikes through familiar landmarks, revealing the true color beneath the surface.”
