IDNYC is a government issued identification card available to all city residents over the age of 14. The secured document, available via application process at select Brooklyn locations, enables residents to access City services and grants admission into City buildings. The card can also be presented as proof of identification for interacting with the NYPD and is an accepted form of identification for opening a banking account at a few select financial institutions.
