“Summer Music Series” At Borough Hall Plaza Begins With Shaggy!

Yesterday, Brooklyn Borough President, Eric Adams, announced the “Summer Music Series” at Borough Hall Plaza. The series of free concerts is in partnership with Music Brings Life, a non-profit blood awareness organization. Tomorrow, July 2nd, will be the kick-off event staring Jamaican-American reggae musician, Shaggy.

The series will be held on three Wednesdays during the summer, starting tomorrow and following up on dates July 16th and August 13th. The concerts will run from 12:00pm to 1:00pm.

Prior to each concert, to educate Brooklynites on the importance of donating blood, from 10:00am to 3:00pm, Brooklyn Borough Hall will host a blood drive. The first 200 people who donate blood will receive a free ticket to the 2014 ” 5 Alarm Blaze Music Brings Life Blood Awareness Concert” to be held on Sunday, August 31st at Stage 48 in Manhattan.
