Jay Z Confirmed For Grammy Performance

The 56th Annual Grammy Awards, to be hosted by LL Cool J, will air on Sunday, January 26th at 8/7c and our Brooklyn’s own Jay Z is confirmed to be apart of the music performance lineup. According to MTV UK, Beyonce is confirmed to be opening the show and Jay Z will accompany her performing their hit together “Drunk In Love” off of B’s surprise visual album, Beyonce.

CBS announced other scheduled Grammys performances include Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr of the Beatles, Daft Punk, Kendrick Lamar and more. The first hour of the broadcast will include live sets from John Legend, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, Hunter Hayes, Lorde and Katy Perry.

It’s set to be an amazing night for Jay Z who has been nominated for a whopping nine Grammys this year including Best Rap Album for Magna Carta Holy Grail and two Best Music Video nods for ‘Picasso Baby’ and ‘Suit & Tie’ which features Justin Timberlake.
