hi-res-464083523-carmelo-anthony-of-the-new-york-knicks-shoots-against_crop_exactThe Nets, after a little break from being in London to play the Atlanta Hawks, came out to play at Madison Square Garden to play against the New York Knicks. The Nets (17-22) have won seven of eight games since the top of 2014 making them 17-22 helping them sit comfortably in the number 7 spot in the Eastern Conference. We continue to keep this up and will will be selling tickets for the playoffs!

Joe Johnson led Brooklyn with 25 points, and 20 of those came in the first half. Andray Blatche demolished the Knicks with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Deron Williams, back from his ankle injury, scored 13 points with three assists. Brooklyn came out to play with a vengeance as payback for falling short in December 83-113.

Brooklyn took control of the first half and built up a 52-38 lead by the half. The Knicks seemed to start off the 3rd quarter great by cutting the deficit to eight points, but that was as close as they came. The Nets continued to dominate on their New York rivals home court. By the end of the 3rd quater, even the Knicks fans were yelling a Brooooo-klyn chant!

The Nets make this their second straight win as we move on to Orlando Magic back on our home court!
