Instagram Addicks: Instameet Is Making Its Way To Brooklyn

How many of your Instagram followers do you actually know, personally? You might get the chance to meet them face-to-face and work together on photo projects, like figuring out the perfect filter for Greenpoint’s landscape.

On September 19th, from 4 to 7p.m., Instagram enthusiasts will gather in each of the five boroughs, stopping in both Greenpoint and Brooklyn Bridge Park, to meet, share photography and filter advice and collaborate on content to post on their personal feeds. The Instameet will consist of Instagram photo challenges, and an after party — location to be determined. In the week following the meet, giveaways will be given for the best photos taken that day.

Instameet is a way to bring photographers and Instagram lovers together to highlight each of the five boroughs of NYC and September’s five borough meet is said to become one of the largest Instameets in New York City history.
