Spike Lee Post Open Call For Netflix Series 'She's Gotta Have It'

It’s been a little over 30 years since Spike Lee released his first feature film She’s Gotta Have It, in 1986. Now the film that put the director on the map is getting it’s just due revival, courtesy of Netflix.

Today, Lee posted an open call to Instagram for actors to be apart of the “new Spike Lee joint.” Lee is looking for all nationalities from the ages of 18-80 to attend Barbara McNamara Casting call at Masonic Temple, 317 Clermont Ave. (Dekalb and Lafayette Ave) on Monday, October 13. Both union and non union members are asked to attend.
