Dear Brooklyn, We’re Off To New Orleans!

I haven’t done a Dear Brooklyn to you all in a long time and that’s for good reason. OurBKSocial has been constantly building and expanding in both staff and readership. I am so excited that you, who continue to come to this site daily, have reached out to me personally through social media and email and expressed so much gratitude.
If you’re new to this site, not only do we keep readers up-to-date on everything BIG and news-worthy in Brooklyn, but we keep it strictly positive. On that note, today we are headed to New Orleans for Essence Festival 2015! Never in a million years did I think that a Brooklyn hub that I started just a year and a half ago, would make it’s way outside the borough. Well thank God, it has!
