This event will serve as a safe space to explore mental health issues, while providing resources that’ll inform our guests of the various ways to achieve mental wellness. ‘Bed Stuy Sings the Blues will host a panel discussion delivered by psychiatric clinicians from Interfaith Medical Center, professionals from The National Alliance on Mental Illness and New York City Department of Mental Health, and feature live performances from the Central Brooklyn Jazz Consortium, and students from the Noel Pointer Foundation.

Graveyard Shift proposes a new way of interacting with the space of the cemetery by activating it through sight, sound, and movement. The first commission for Graveyard Shift is a site-specific performance by musician Yonatan Gat and the Eastern Medicine Singers, a multicultural collaboration between the acclaimed guitarist and the Algonquin Pow Wow group.
