One Couples Rained Out Wedding Photos Are Simply Perfect

I’m sure Stephanie Pepin and Max Santiago envisioned their wedding day as a normal sunny summer day in Williamsburg; the way it actually begun. Yet the perfect weather was short lived as a torrential afternoon thunderstorm quickly took over the day and the couple’s wedding.

The bridal party, who were supposed to have a few photos taken at the piers in Williamsburg, got caught in heavy down pour. “The sky looked darker and darker, and when we got to Williamsburg, it started to drizzle. The bride and groom still wanted to at least try having their “first look” on the pier, and we were able to get that done and then it just came down, sudden torrential downpours,’ Pepin told the DailyMail. “Everyone got soaking wet, including my assistant and myself. My cameras got wet – even with an umbrella it was impossible to keep the water off of them.”

According to the couple’s photographer, Kamila Harris, the two newlyweds handled the rain pretty well — even at times laughing at it all. “I love thunderstorms — why is everyone freaking out, it’s just rain”, the bride stated.

While many brides would have a major meltdown if their wedding was disrupted by bad weather, Pepin and Santiago made the best of it and might we add, it only made their wedding photos that much more beautiful.
