The 21st annual Pour The Core — a hard cider festival, will spend its first year in the big apple, this Saturday, June 13th, in Brooklyn. The 21-and-over event, that previously stopped in Philadelphia and Long Island, will take place in Greenpoint’s Brooklyn Expo Center — 72 Noble Street.

The indoor festival put on by Starfish Junction Productions, will allow cider lovers to learn about and sample about 75 hard ciders from about 30 breweries around the world. Guest will also be able to participate in an array of interactive lectures, including a “how to brew your own cider.” I mean, score!

“We had primarily been doing beer festivals,” Kristyn Dolan, marketing manager for Starfish Junction Productions, told AM New York. “But we decided to look into hard cider because a lot of people were asking about having cider at these festivals.”

Pour The Core’s VIP allows an extra hour for lushes from 1:30 to 2:30PM at $50. General admission from 2:30 to 6PM is $40.
