Each year the Art Of Carnival Exhibit provides a cultural connection with the communities that celebrate carnival and the fine arts. The goal of this exhibit is to expand the cultural experience of the carnival to new audiences as the exhibit tours the country and eventually abroad. Carnival lovers and art collectors will celebrate and have an opportunity to own the spirit of West Indian Carnival.

Scott and Manohla Dargis of The New York Times to choose 5 great films all shot in NYC. New Yorkers voted throughout August and the winner is… Crooklyn! Spike Lee’s warm, witty film celebrates childhood in Brooklyn in the 70s. Bring your blanket to watch the movie in the borough it celebrates. Movie will be shown on the Myrtle Avenue lawn. Closest entrance on Myrtle & North Portland Avenues. Movie begins at sunset. FYI: Spike Lee will be at this particular screening!
