So you are getting ready to attend church, or  you are resting in before you head out to brunch and you have no idea what to do after. Most people want to relax the whole day or just unwind with family, for those of you who want to do that today, take this article into consideration for next week. The Brooklyn Museum is a good choice! The museum is located on 200 Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights. If you have yet to see the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit – “From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk”, you must head over there now! The exhibit will come to a close on February 23rd of this year. It has been open to the public since October and has received nothing but rave reviews! Having seen it already I must say it’s just pure beauty! There are other amazing art galleries to visit inside as well. On Sundays the museum opens at 11am and closes at 6pm.

How about the New York Transit Museum located in Downtown Brooklyn on the corner of Boerum Place and Schermerhorn Street. This is a go to spot when visiting Brooklyn. Learn and discover all about the New York Transit system that has been running for over 100 years! Admission for adults is only $7 and children 2-17 as well as seniors is $5. The museum is open on Sundays from 11am to 5pm. Also on Sundays at 12pm and again at 3pm transit experts guide you through the dramatic story of the building of New York’s subway system, the evolution of the City’s surface transportation, and our priceless collection of vintage subway and elevated cars dating back to 1904. There are also trains that you can actually go in and explore from over the years. Amazing spot!

Or you can take in a movie! With the Oscar’s coming up, we are in officially movie awards season. You should be able to say for yourself what movies and actors should actually win!
