Who doesn’t love a good food truck? A sure sign that Spring has sprung are the array of food trucks that hit Grand Army Plaza. Chicken tacos, pepperoni pizza, organic ice cream on top of a belgium waffle, whatever you desire, there’s a truck for it! Starting Sunday, April 6th and every first and third Sunday until October 19th the brightly color painted food trucks will be taking over right outside Prospect Park. The food feasts starts at 11am, but I suggest you get there early. Lines are sure to build and if you want to try and array of foods, you’ll be standing on more than one.

With more than 15 vendors including The Red Hook Lobster Pound,Rickshaw Dumpling Truck and Vanleeuwen Ice Cream this year’s rally is sure to be a foodie’s dream. The cost is not to bad, considering you are getting gourmet fast food. The rally closes down at 5pm and vendors sell out the best items quickly. So come early on an empty stomach. Bring a blanket with you, as there are no dining chairs provided but you are always welcome to sit on the bright green grass in the park. That is if our spring weather decides to show its face.
