The doubters, the nay-sayers, and haters can eat crow, or in this case pigeon.

The NBA has just awarded Brooklyn Nets star point guard, Deron Williams, as the Eastern Conference Player of the Week. This award is simply a testament to the All-Star’s will power to get back to the standard he held himself at before arriving in Brooklyn three seasons ago.

unnamed-5

Last season, Nets fans were just begging Williams to score a decent amount of points and a have a few assists. Who could forget the “Have you seen this man” signs outside of the Barclays Center with Deron’s face on it? Analysts had kicked Williams to the curb like an old, dirty, and expired metro card. As soon as last years’ 2nd round of the playoffs ended for the Nets, Deron immediately had his ankles surgically operated on and vowed to not have that kind of season again. What a difference an off season makes.

What you didn’t see last year in Williams, you can definitely see now. You can see it in his eyes, his speed, his swag, and especially his shot; Ladies and gentlemen, Deron Williams is in “Brooklyn Beast Mode”. Since the start of the season, Deron Williams has been averaging 19.5 points per game along with an average of 7 assists. Earlier in the week, Deron had spoken to the media saying “It’s going to be hard to stop me.” Knicks power forward, Amare Stoudemire even took notice saying that the Deron Williams he played against the other night was the one in Utah. He and everyone else had better pay attention to the one in Brooklyn. Oh, that other night happened to be the night when Deron Williams dropped a Nets season high 29 points in a win over the New York Knicks in their first Battle of the Boroughs games.
Unfortunately, it may be time to call it quits if you can’t find a way to work around the issue. 2. http://davidfraymusic.com/buy-2224 (viagra prescription)

With the Nets season young at only 6 games and a 4-2 record, D-Will has put the entire NBA on notice. The amazing thing about that is that Williams is not even close to finish. If that’s the case, Nets fans won’t have to wait till after ALL-STAR break to see what D-Will can do. He will be in the conversations among the best point guards, he will return to the NBA ALL-STAR games, but most importantly, Deron will be looked upon as a league MVP.

You better believe the hype is real; Deron Williams is in Brooklyn Beast Mode.
