Back in September of 2014, news broke of the beautiful Clinton Hill landmark known as the “Broken Angel House” had been sold and would be turned into condos. (Go Figure!)

The four-story home that was a staple in the community was previously owned by Arthur Wood, an artist popular in the neighborhood. The property has since been purchased by Barrett Design and Development for, get this, a whopping $4.1 million.

Before it was officially off the market, Arthur Wood tried to convert the abandoned building into a set of condos but fell into some financial troubles that caused building foreclosure back in 2007. With the property now belonging to Barrett Design, the plan was to turn the building into an eight condo structure along with adding a new four-story building equipped with two condos. Last week, six out of the 10 units have been put on the market and listed between $1.125 million and $2.375 million.
