The Brooklyn Nets have not played a game at home since February 6th and wont do so again until March 2nd. They’re currently on their long 8-game road trip lasting 24 days.

The Brooklyn Nets Extra Long 8 Game Road Trip

If you’re saying to yourself that 8 road games in a span of about a month is a lot then you would be correct. It’s the longest time the Nets have been away from home in the history of their franchise. Now to be fair, the 2015 NBA All-Star weekend events are major factors pertaining to the length of the road trip.  Also, Mason Plumlee and Bojan Bogdanovic participated in Brooklyn All-Star events, giving them a chance to play at home. However, the 8 game road trip has not been favorable to the Nets as they have won just 1 out of the 4 games already in the record books.

The Nets faced off against Washington, Milwaukee, and Memphis, each with a winning and better record than the Nets. Anyway you slice it, the Nets were not favored to win those game before the All-Star break. Within that time, point guard Jarrett Jack injured himself and has no time table for his return however, the injury does not seem serious. Also, the veteran Kevin Garnett agreed to a trade with Minnesota in exchange for Thaddeus Young. The Nets did win the game in which Young debuted against the Los Angeles Lakers but the Lakers have a record of 14-41. Essentially, the Nets beat a team they were supposed to beat. The remaining 4 road game come against 3 teams currently in the Western Conference Playoff picture and/or a winning record. The Nets will play against Dallas, New Orleans, and Houston. These game will really test the Nets and gauge where they are after the All-Star break.
But they are usually viagra properien view content now insignificant and last not too long.

Tonight however, the Nets face off against the Denver Nuggets who again have a record worse than the Nets at 20-35. This is another must win game as the Nets can tie for 7th place in the Eastern Conference playoff picture with the Miami Heat. The starting point guard for the Nets, Deron Williams, looked good in practices before the trade deadline and may have been a factor as to why his name really never came up in trade talks. The Nets see something in him now that they haven’t seen since he was injured. And with Williams starting and posting a double-double with 12 points and 15 assists, Williams may finally be on his way back to his regular self. Many things have happened during this 8 game road trip and the Nets are only half way there. Lets see if the Nets, now with a rejuvenated Deron Williams and new asset Thaddeus Young, can shake things up.
