And thats a wrap! The Brooklyn Nets have completed a season sweep of last season’s NBA Champions, the Miami Heat. All four games, All four wins. The ONLY team to go un-beaten by Miami. There should be some sort of prize for that. Thanks to rookie Mason Plumlee for  denying big man LeBron James’ dunk attempt at the rim with 2 seconds left, leaving the Nets to complete the game with 88-87, final score.

Favorite quote of the night by Nets coach Jason Kidd,

The best player in the world going against a rookie.

Lebron James was not happy. He cried foul, when Plumlee clearly blocked him. Nobody should be able to block Lebron James right? Wrong! The Brooklyn Nets have made themselves a huge competitor against the Heat. They are not afraid to play against them. Miami as NBA champions do not scare the Nets, they take them on with pride.

The Nets continue their three game road trip this Wednesday, where they will face off against the Orlando Magic.

Planning the championship parade! Ok, maybe I’m jumping ahead a little.
