It’s finally Fall in Brooklyn, which many equate to the season with the best fashion of all time.
NYFW shenanigans are done and over with and although, there were a few shows that did take place in Brooklyn, one day we hope to see Mercedes Benz Fashion Week take place fully in the borough, rather than the staple Lincoln Center. Fashion mother, Anna Wintour might even agree, as she made her way to Brooklyn, for a couple of shows in the past.
Just think about it, now with Brooklyn’s popularity (we’ve always been cool), we deserve the right to host and entertain the flock of people who partake in fashion week. And if the fashion gawds are reading and taking this article into account, here are 10 places in brooklyn where the shows can take place:
1. Brooklyn Museum
– located on 200 Eastern Parkway. The museum’s mission is to act as a bridge between the rich artistic heritage of world cultures, and the unique experience of each visitor.
2. Brooklyn Botanical Garden
– located on 1000 Washington Avenue. This location is usually ideal for wedding ceremonies, and with it’s 52 acres of garden would be perfect to host an outdoor fashion show.
3. Dumbo Loft
– located on 155 Water Street. A ground level event space that can accommodate hundreds. It’s pre war details paired with their hardwood floors would add character to any show.
4. Brooklyn Brewery
– located on 79 N 11th Street. Details of this space include 4000 square feet of post-industrial rawness. One of the many gems in Williamsburg.

– located on 240 Kent Avenue. This event space features a scenic roof top, the views are of the Manhattan skyline. The roof is surrounded by glass walls adding that extra touch of elegance.
9. Greenpoint  Loft
– located on 67 West Street. This space is originally a pre World War II era warehouse, that has since been restored with beautiful wooden floors and high ceilings. Greenpoint Loft also features a rooftop.
10. Grand Army Plaza
– located on Eastern Parkway, it’s intended purpose was to connect the parks with roads making it free of traffic. The Plaza was also one of the first features of Prospect Park.
