Williamsburg, Brooklyn isn’t the first place you think of when searching for an award-winning hairdresser but that has officially changed.
ARROJO in Williamsburg opened its doors on April 17 of last year and is one of three premiere locations named after founder Nick Arrojo, the seven-season hairdressing host for TLC’s What Not To Wear. Most known for his signature razor-cutting technique, a modern and creative precision-based hairdressing method, last night’s #springfling event was busy with stylists doing braids and other free styling on all ladies who showed up. Guests also received free makeup touchups and social media photo shoots.
When you first enter Arrojo’s salon, you are greeted by smiling faces and simple walls that accentuate the open floor plan and collaborative space. Not only do they offer a wide variety of services from Color and Highlights to Make-up and even a cut from Nick Arroyo himself, but they have created their own products and promote make-up by Ellis Faas, which is very pigmented and stays on long. Their make-up and hair stylists are talented and they are so personable, which is great, especially when getting a treatment that takes time.
Even when teachers are certified, their training may not have integrated any preparatory work to help them deal with acceptance in society and/or acceptance with self and in levitra prices loved that their friend and family circle.
The culture at ARROJO is centered around education and being knowledgeable about the best techniques and products for hair and skin. In fact, Arrojo created the ARROJO cosmetology school, whose goal is to elevate the craft and use products that are made by hairdressers for hairdressers.
I was lucky enough to have my hair styled by Claire who is the manager of the Williamsburg location. She was so helpful and provided great feedback regarding my hair, which causes me great stress on a daily basis!
To celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Williamsburg location, they are hosting a night of drinking, dancing and fun on April 19th. So be sure make your way to 11 Broadway in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and even if you’re not in the area, it’s worth the trip!
