One Williamsburg Starbucks Gets OK To Serve Wine & Beer

One Brooklyn Starbucks is now more than your favorite extra-hot white mocha latte.

On Wednesday, a select number of Starbucks across the country will offer a night menu that serves up   wine, beer and light appetizers like bacon-wrapped dates and truffle mac ‘n cheese. Starbucks at 154 N. 7th Street, in Williamsburg, will be the only Brooklyn location to add the exclusive menu, according to USA Today.

“We learned resoundingly that our customers want to come to Starbucks and have a glass of wine or a craft beer,” Rachel Antalek, vice president of concept innovations and Starbucks sommelier, told USA Today. “There aren’t that many places to go in the evening where you can go very relaxed, very casual.”
