Mason Plumlee’s “Dunk of the Day” for today, Friday February 6th takes us back a few months ago to November 10th 2014 when the Brooklyn Nets faced the Orlando Magic.

Mason Plumlee’s 'Dunk of the Day' - 2

Nets’ fans, dunking is in no way a victimless crime. In fact, in this case there were two victims. Victim #1 is Channing Frye of the Orlando Magic, aka the accessory to the posterized. The there’s victim #2, Aaron Gordon, the actual posterized victim. Deron Williams was bringing up the ball and ran a simple pick and roll with Mason Plumlee. Channing Frye was guarding Plumlee but somehow lost him, at the same time losing his defensive abilities.

Mason Plumee isn’t “The Flash,” he isn’t even “Captain America” but you would think the way he ran past Frye that he actually was. What did Frye do to defend him? Sadly, he simply put his hand out. However, the main victim on this night is Aaron Gordan. Aaron why did you do it to yourself? You could’ve avoided the YouTube highlights, ESPN replays, and even this story being written about you. Instead you decided to get in front of a moving train, the #1 train, Mason Plumlee. That train had only one stop, the bottom of the net and only the bottom of the net but you thought you could somehow derail or change Plumlee’s course. I’ve never met anyone that could stop a moving train with just their body but you tried anyway. Aaron you failed to do anything but simply get hit by a moving train. I know it didn’t feel good. Frye and Aaron, just be glad that you were able to survive that accident and left the scene alive.
