The Next 6 games on the Brooklyn Nets schedule are the most important games they will play this season. No, the playoffs haven’t started early but these next 6 games will determine if the Nets will have a spot the playoff picture at all.

The Fate Of The Nets Season Lies In Tonights Game Vs Celtics

Just a couple of weeks ago the Brooklyn Nets were on the outside looking into the Eastern Conference Playoffs (ECP) while occupying the 11th seed with a 29-39 record. The chances for the Nets getting into the playoffs seemed to diminish quickly due to a string of 5 straight games lost and injuries to key players in the Nets rotation. Even the Nets front office spoke to a group of season ticket holders on a bus ride to Philadelphia about their frustrations with the team while vowing to be a much better and younger team from that point on forward. Fast-forward 2 weeks and 5 games later and the Nets are on the cusp of retaking a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Tonight the Nets will host the Boston Celtics who are currently occupying the 8th and final seed in the ECP. After that they face the Hornets in Charlotte, the Cavaliers, Lakers and Pacers in Brooklyn, and the NBA’s worst, Knicks in Manhattan. Only the Cavaliers have a winning record and have clinched a playoff spot. A Nets win tonight means that they will seize the 8th seed but ONLY if the Charlotte Hornets lost tonights game as well. Yes, the Nets are competing with other teams aside from the ones against them on the court and regardless if the Nets actually take the court. The Nets are watching the Milwaukee Bucks, the Miami Heat, the Indiana Pacers, the Boston Celtics and the Charlotte Hornets. That’s 6 teams competing heavily for 3 spots in the 6th, 7th, and 8th seed; spots that the Nets almost didn’t have a chance of getting weeks ago. But because those teams were losing games at the same time the Nets were winning games, it has now become its own competition to watch in the Eastern Conference.

Many bodybuilders purchase Proviron since it is an devensec.com buy cheap levitra orally administered drug, which is available in different doses 5mg, 10mg, and 20mg tablet form.

The majority of these teams face heavy competition, coming from the Eastern and Western Conferences. The Nets however have an easier schedule to games remaining. Their heaviest competition being the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Atlanta Hawks, the top two teams in the Eastern Conference and the only teams the conference to clinch a playoff birth. The Nets may not want to admit it but they are probably relieved that the tough part of their schedule is over while other teams are still in the midst of theirs. The Bucks are in complete free fall and look they will hit the ground outside of the ECP. They have lost their last 7 games which has opened up other teams chances of reaching the coveted 6th seed. Remember, the team that finishes in 6th will NOT face the Hawks or Cavaliers in the first round of the ECP; the 7th and 8th seeded teams will. The Nets have to basically win every game left and hope that other teams that, they are closely watching, fall into a late season funk to reach the 6th seed but seeds 7th and 8th are attainable, 8th as early as tonight.

How exactly did the Nets get themselves here? If you look closely at the Nets they are a mentally tougher team. Boajn Bogdanovic has absolutely flourished in these last several games averaging almost 18 points off the bench. Brook Lopez has now found his offensive rebounding talent and is a force underneath. Deron Williams is being used sparingly but his making the best of the situation. He recently dropped 17 in the first half against the Pacers after sitting out for over an hour in the triple overtime win against the Bucks. Thaddeus Young is continuing to impress with his shooting ability and his defense. Jarrett Jack continues to use his pretty floater in the paint which is almost unguardable. Alan Anderson is hitting big shots right when the Nets have needed them, especially from downtown. Joe Johnson is now being utilized as a closer late in games. He commands so much attention in the paint that he can either get an easy bucket or kick it out to Bogdanovic, Anderson or Williams waiting on the wing to hit a game icing 3.

If the Nets want to develop a habit of being a consistent playoff team, unlike their cross borough counterparts, then these next 6 games will tell us in amazing detail. The fate of the Nets season starts tonight in Brooklyn.
