Carmelo Anthony & Kevin Durant Coach Roc Nation’s ‘Summer Classic’

If you’re anything like me, you are missing NBA season but it seams like Barclays Center has us covered with some amazing summer basketball games. Robinson Cano and CC Sabathia are teaming up for a star studded Summer Classic Charity Basketball Game.

Cano and Sabathia will be captains of two celebrity teams. Announced today via Power 105.1, one of the sponsors of the game, CC Sabathia’s team will be coached by Carmelo Anthony and Cano’s team by Kevin Durant.

Radio powerhouse personality, Angie Martinez, who just recently joined the Power 105.1 team, will be the host of the night.

This exciting night will take place on August 21st and tickets are on sale now. All proceeds from the game will go to CC Sabathia’s PitCCh Foundation and Robinson Cano’s RC22 Foundation to support children in need.
