Essence Street Style Festival returns to Brooklyn on Sunday, September 9, after being absent in 2017.

Launched in 2014, the ESSENCE Street Style Festival—initially an outdoor block party in DUMBO—was created to provide a space where the fashion elite, style influencers, and everyday fashionistas could come to celebrate the unique influence black women have on fashion, style and beauty during NYFW.

For the annual festival’s mega return,  Insecure star and comedienne Amanda Seales will host the celebration of style, culture and community at Duggal Greenhouse in Brooklyn’s Navy Yard. This is the first year the festival will feature a new indoor/outdoor format for curated experiences.
