Hailing a cab in New York City can be a long, miserable task. A Crown-Heights filmmaker has a way of adding just a touch of laughter to that task, right after scaring you half-to-death.
24-year-old, Meir Kalmoanson headed to Park Avenue in Manhattan and randomly gave high-fives to anyone trying to hail a cab and made a full video of it.
Kalmoanson, originally from New Haven but now resides in Brooklyn told the NYDailyNews,
“I love making videos where they are not just funny but also are heartwarming and have a good feel and message to it,” he said. “I love seeing all of the people (in New York) and it just clicked in me. ‘How cool would it be to give someone a high five?'”
Although the reaction of people were visibly shaken-up, a smile eluded seconds after.
