A group of LGBT teens that attend Academy For Young Writers, a public high-school in East New York, got the surprise of their life this week.

New York Times colomnist, Nicholas Kristof, hosted a round-table discussion with transgender advocate and I Am Cait reality star, Caitlyn Jenner, and the students who called Caitlyn out on being ‘privileged’ and not using ‘her privilege to advocate for those [LGBT community] who can’t speak for themselves.’ The students went as far as pulling down a photo of the star from a wall in the school before Cait herself paid a visit.

Kristof has followed the stories of these students from back in June 2015. One of those students being Spencer — a 16-year-old transgender male — who was biologically born a girl, given a girl’s name, but from a child, never felt comfortable with his sexuality.

“I knew I felt different from age 4, but I didn’t have a word for it,” Spencer told the NYT. “In my mind, I kept thinking, ‘Why can’t I be a boy, even though I don’t have boy parts?’ It confused me.”

Caitlyn spent hours listening to the students’ personal life stories of struggling with their identity and growing up transgender while the students in return sat with an open mind in regards to Cait’s transition story.

Frequently, affected individuals may use Forzest pills to get hard erection, without knowing that a deeper the original source levitra 60 mg insight in needed for health and ED remedy.
“For so many years, little Caitlyn has lived inside,” Caitlyn said. “And Bruce kind of took over the world, and did his thing. It was time to put him inside and let’s let her live…Maybe this is the reason God put me on this earth, to tell my story, to try to make a difference in the world. This is about life. This is about life and death. People destroy their lives over what we all kind of deal with.”

Caitlyn also mentioned that she is working behind the scenes to address the North Carolina transgender bathroom law that prohibits individuals from using public facilities that do not correspond with their biological sex.

Caitlyn tweeted out yesterday, “Seeing kids like these make it all worth it.”
