If you love musicals, Brooklyn and its history, then The Fortress of Solitude is what you need to see. The musical is derived from a novel written by Jonathan Lethem, which takes you on a journey of what occurred in 1970s Brooklyn. The story follows two boys, one white and one black as the city goes through its first major blackout, racial tension, and the change of music from Funk to R&B and Hip-Hop.
