In a matter of bizarre Brooklyn news, a New York taxi driver has been just been ordered to pay a lesbian couple $10,000 in damages after he told them to stop kissing in the back of his cab back in 2011.
The Sunset Park based couple, actress Kassie Thornton and her partner Christy Spitzer, a TV Executive, experienced everything short of what was supposed to be a normal cab ride. Cab driver, Mohammed Dahbi, was outraged by the behavior that the couple was displaying in the backseat of his vehicle. According to Daily Mail, Dahbi reportedly told the couple “they needed to stop kissing in the back of his cab,” and that behavior should be “kept in the bedroom.” Dahbi, amongst calling the couple derogatory names, also threatened to kick them out of his cab if they ignored his warning.Obviously, no man wants to become incapable of fulfilling yours as well as your partner’s needs? on line viagra browse around for source now It sure is tragic.
Fast forward to 2015 and a judge ordered Dahbi to pay Thornton and Spitzer $10,000 in damages as well a $5,000 civil penalty to the city. Nope, that’s not all. Dahbi was also ordered to attend an anti-discrimination training. Mohammed Dahbi’s lawyer is planning to appeal the decision as he believes “there was no real injury here.”
