The Brooklyn Nets continue their Brooklyn Nets Assist program, presented by Baked In Brooklyn, which stands to support four key pillars: Education, Athletics, Health & Wellness, and Community Development.

Tomorrow the Brooklyn team will visit historic U.S. Army Garrison Fort Hamilton to facilitate a team practice open to troops and other military personnel. in Brooklyn to The event will be presented by Key Food.

After practice, Nets players Markel Brown, Jorge Gutierrez, Cory Jefferson, and Jerome Jordan, along with Miss New York 2014 Jillian Tapper, Brooklyn boxer Zachary Ochoa, some of the Brooklynettes dance team, and 20 veterans will serve an early Thanksgiving meal to 100 Brooklynites from Bed-Stuy Campaign Against Hunger presented by Key Food. Bed-Stuy Campaign Against Hunger provides more than 200,000 emergency meals each month to vulnerable New Yorkers.
