According to the NYPost, Cooklyn, a seasonal restaurant that focuses on Brooklyn-sourced food is opening this week in Prospect Heights. The restaurant located on 659 Vanderbilt Avenue,where head Chef Anthony Theocaropoulos known for his diverse dishes, will collaborate with a number of locals for his menus ingredients.

Cooklyn will reportedly source cheese from Stinky Brooklyn, bread from the Brooklyn Bread Co. and coffee from Toby’s Estate. The Prospect Heights eatery will also provide wines from Brooklyn’s Red Hook Winery as well as a couple of Brooklyn-based beers.
