If you’ve binged watched the complete first season of Netflix series “Fuller House,” the sequel to 90s hit show “Full House” and been missing out on Michelle — played by both Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, don’t worry, a pair of Brooklyn comedians are coming to save the day.
Roomates, Matt Harkins and Viviana Olen are planning to launch a museum completely dedicated to the Olsen twins. The proposed museum, titled Olsen Twins Hiding from the Papparazzi, will feature artwork dedicated to the twins and several other pop culture figures. Thou the museum started off as just a joke, but many artist began to express interest in donating pieces to the exhibit. According to Daily Mail, the complete exhibit will feature a retrospective look at the fashion designers’ attempts to shield themselves from the media, including some artistic renderings by Chicago artist Laura Collins.
Harkins and Olen are also the same duo to bring Brooklyn the strange Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan 1994 museum. I mean, how cool is that?,” Harkins and Olen told Dazed.

The duo insists that this is not a joke, although many may take it as, since they are comedians.
“People instantly assume it’s a joke, but it’s not. We’ve spent the last year running tours in our hallway museum and have taken what we promised to do seriously. But we are comedians so we try to make things as fun as we can,” they continued.
Other big name stars set to be included in the museum are Kylie Jenner and Kim Richards.
The roommates explained their reasoning behind this museum on their campaign:
“The Olsen Twins are True Celebrities. Highly unrelatable. They have bowls (and bowls) of cigarettes at their weddings. Very chic. They answered fans calls for them to appear on Fuller House with a gently whispered “what is that?” On all red carpets, they dress so that, if they needed to, they could do the Iditarod Race right after. They own a fashion empire. This includes The Row. A lot of people joke about how expensive the clothes are but have you seen them? They are stunning. Take a look at the Ethel Long Tunic Sweater. It’s a sweater that literally goes all the way to the floor. Every item in the collection tells a story. A story we could never afford, but one that is very fun to read about online.
Thrust in front of the camera before they could make a choice, the Olsen Twins have been a national brand since they were babies. We envied them, revered them, we gazed upon them. As adults they are now badass business women who facilitate their lives to be as inaccessible as possible. In a world of “I trip at the Oscars, I’m JUST like YOU.”, they hide in towers we can only assume don’t exist on any maps.”
As of right now, the campaign has garnered a little over $3,000 and hopes to raise $9,500 in the remaining 13 days. If fully funded and all goes as planned the museum will open in April for approximately two weeks.
