What is in the NBA water? So many injuries and re-injuries so early in the season. The injuries for the Brooklyn Nets seem to just get worse! With injuries of players early in the season from key bench players Jason Terry and Andrei Kirilenko to notable starters Deron Williams and Paul Pierce now our KEY Brook Lopez.
Gary Tanguay of CSNNE.com broke the news this morning. He tweets “NBA Source tells me Brook Lopez of the Nets is done for the year. Broken foot. East continues to get worse.” NetsDaily and ESPN NewYork also confirmed the report. Brook injured his surgically-repaired foot that was fractured back in 2011.
Lopez in his short lived 17 games scored an average of 20.7 points, six rebonds and 1.8 blocks per game. Lopez was the teams most consistent offensive player. Where do we go from here? He was our All-Star Center.
But when the passion is over, there will certainly come a long period visit that link now levitra on line of suffering.
The Nets now will have to go with Kevin Garnett to start and give Andray Blatche more playing time. Not the best Christmas present – BLAH!
