You know Pokémon Go — the newest reality mobile game — is beginning to take over the world when an addicted gamer creates an event specifically for it.

Jeff Ramos, a resident of Greenpoint, created the Pokémon Go/North Brooklyn Pub Crawl on Facebook after watching a number of his neighbors frantically walking around trying to catch Pokémon. The bar crawl’s sole purpose is to meet other Pokémon enthusiast, drink crap loads of beer and of-course catch as much Pokémon together.

“Since so many of us are walking around our neighborhood playing this game and running across neighbors, I thought it’d be a great idea to organize a bar crawl,” Ramos states on the Facebook event page.

The event will kick off at Greenpoint bar, Spritzenhaus on 33 Nassau Street, from 1pm – 11pm. Yes, no joke, this is a 10 hour event!
It’s also a good idea to make sure that it stays in place. viagra 50 mg

“The tentative starting place is Spritzenhaus (which is right next to Macarren Park and a Pokemon Gym). Then we’ll head down Manhattan Ave. From there, we’ll head towards Transmitter Park (tons of water Pokemon there) and on the way, we’ll hit three gyms. On the way there, we can visit multiple bars such as Bar Matchless, Enid’s, No Name Bar, Sunshine Laundromat & Pinball, Black Rabbit and even doughnuts at Peter Pan bakery! I’m more than happy to take suggestions on stops but Manhattan Ave has tons of great bars and restaurants along the way. You’ll definitely find Pikachus, Bulbasars, Squirtles, Psyducks and more!”

As of today, 264 people have confirmed their attendance while over 1,000 people are interested in adding it to their schedule.
