Literary Agents have one of the most crucial jobs in publishing, and yet not everyone knows exactly what they do or how to pitch them. In this conversation literary agents Linda Camacho (Prospect Agency), Penny Moore (Empire Literary), and Quressa Robinson (Nelson Literary Agency) have a wealth of experience from being in publishing houses to various agencies. They will discuss the specifics of their job, pitches, your role as writer, and what to expect as you prepare to sell your book and what do to thereafter. Conversation will include a Q&A with those in the audience. Discussion will be moderated by Jennifer Baker (Sackett Street Writers’ Workshop).
