Popular ride sharing services are saying “no excuses” when it comes to voting.

Both Uber and Lyft are making it easier to get to your voting site on Election Day.

Uber’s CEO Dara Khosrowshahi announced that on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, the ride service will partner with #VoteTogether and Democracy Works to provide free rides to the polls. On Election Day, anyone in the U.S. will be able to quickly find their polling place and book a ride to go vote via a “Get To The Polls” button inside the app.
