In this ’90s kinda world, I’m glad I got my girls…coming back to television!
Queen Latifah stopped by Watch What Happens Live on Thursday, where she revealed a Living Single revival is currently in the works to a fan who called in to the show.
“Funny you should ask — we’re actually working on it,” she told host Andy Cohen. “It’s not there yet, but hopefully we can get it happening.”
The TV sitcom that followed six friends living in Park Slope, Brooklyn and exploring life and relationships aired from 1993 to 1998. Latifah is on board to produce the revival and hopes to reunite the original cast — Kim Coles, Kim Fields, Erika Alexander, T.C. Carson, John Henton and Mel Jackson.
With the show in its beginning stages, it’s unclear if it will be another sitcom turned Netflix reboot or if it would end up back on TV.
We’re still figuring that all out,” she said.
