Getting around Brooklyn just got easier, and thanks to uberPOOL, any travel under 8 miles within the borough will be $8 (or less), until 2017.
uberPOOL, which kicked of in 2009 as part of UBER’s car service app, pairs people together who are heading in the same direction for cheaper prices than if they were to travel alone.
“uberPOOL is the most convenient and cheapest way to travel,” details the Daily News.
According to UBER the pool works as follows:
- Open your app anywhere in Brooklyn and select uberPOOL.
- Enter your destination – you’ll see your low upfront fare in the app.
- Request! You’ll be matched with others heading your way.
An uberPOOL ride from Bed-Stuy to Bushwick would only cost $6, a dollar extra if you decide to travel in a pair, according to an UBER estimate.
Except for a few occasional slight aching great pharmacy purchase cheap cialis and soreness at the point of skin penetration, there are no side effects, provided you go to a trained acupuncturist for treating your condition.
UBER continues to challenge their competition as the car service app currently allows commuters to pay for their trip with pre-tax dollars, an update they made back in August only for New Yorkers. Thanks to an UBER partnership with Wageworks riders can pay for uberPOOL using commuter benefits that are offered through their employers and could save the rider up to 40% on travel.
Among the various promo’s UBER has featured this year – highlighting loyal customers, and sporadic perks, this is the perfect opportunity to get acquainted with Brooklyn.
“You can go from Bushwick to Brooklyn Heights, Greenpoint to Fort Greene, or Crown Heights to Canarsie for less than $8—all day every day. Hop in an uberPOOL and start exploring Brooklyn today,” said UBER.
Heres to a great end of the year!
