Food Network & Cooking Channel's New York City Wine & Food Festival Kicks Off Tomorrow

The Food Network & Cooking Channel New York City Wine & Food Festival (NYCWFF) kicks off tomorrow, Thursday, October 13 through Sunday, October 16, with over 90 events taking place at locations across New York City.

On Thursday, October 13, NYCWFF is bringing one of its fan favorites, Chicken Coupe — an event that pairs fried chicken and champagne — to The William Vale, Williamsburg’s newest hotel. Hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Andrew Carmellini will guide guest through an indulgent evening of bubbles and birds all happening poolside.

A new festival event taking over Brooklyn’s food hall Berg’n is Best of Brooklyn presented by MUNCHIES hosted by Action Bronson, taking place on Friday, October 14. Featuring signature dishes from some of the borough’s favorite neighborhood restaurants and chefs, guests will indulge in the food that makes Brooklyn’s culinary scene so vibrant, all while dancing the night away to an exclusive DJ set from TV on the Radio’s Jaleel Bunton.




Food Network and Cooking Channel chefs and culinary personalities will cook live on Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 16 with the introduction of the Culinary Demonstrations Only ticket option. A featured part of the culinary epicenter at Pier 94, home to the 135,000-sq. ft. playground that is the Festival’s signature Grand Tasting presented by ShopRite, these stages will host a star-studded line-up of a dozen chefs sharing their kitchen pro-tips and tricks for fans.

On Sunday, October 16, Coca-Cola’s Backyard BBQ presented by Thrillist will taking place at Pier 92 with hosts Bobby Flay and Michael Symon. 30 chefs will dish out their best barbecue fare to see who will be crowned top grill maestro and take home Thrillist’s People’s Choice Award.  An esteemed panel of judges, including People magazine’s Sonal Dutt, NBC’s Tamron Hall and Chef Aarón Sánchez, will decide the winner of the inaugural Coke and Smoke BBQ Challenge.
