American composer and lyricist, Stephen Sondheim, legendary actress, Bernadette Peters and the full original cast of Into The Woods reunites tonight at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM).
In celebration of  Sondheim’s birthday, the cast and creative members from the 1987 Tony award winning production will host a two-part panel, in which the cast will discuss what exactly happened “in the woods” and talk with the audience about their own “happily ever afters”.
Yet don’t sweat, the event is not all discussion, but also part live performance and part retrospective as the tribute will cover everything from the creation of the musical to its award winning score and book, to the entire casting process.
It is also reassuring to know that the Ed Hardy levitra price view over here line will definitely not be going out of control.
In 1988 the production was nominated for 10 Tony Awards and took home Best Original Score (Sondheim), Best Book of a Musical (Lapine) and Best Actress in a Musical (Gleason) and tonight, there are still tickets left for the 7PM show to re-live some of those magical moments.
If you need a last minute reason to go, here’s Bernadette Peter’s performing “Witch’s Lament” is the original production that aired on PBS back on March 20th, 1991:
