Ways of Seeing looks to amplify untapped talent and brilliant visions by young Black and Latina women. Join as was we foster community by allowing us all to see ourselves being recreated, remolded, shifted, explored, and reimagined by the filmmakers in our programs.

An Evening With Dominique Morisseau

Dominique Morisseau is an American playwright and actor from Detroit, Michigan. She has authored over nine plays, three of which are part of a cycle titled The Detroit Projects. She wrote the book for the jukebox musical Ain’t Too Proud, The Life and Times of the Temptations, directed by Des McAnuff. The musical is currently running on Broadway at the Imperial Theatre. Hear her discuss her journey in person.

The Goddess Tour

The Goddess Tour is a platform for women of color to share their gifts through music. It is a music collective for black women who share the same views and have the same message through music. Singers, songwriters, rappers/lyricists & musicians who are in touch with their divine Goddess energy or who want to explore their divine Goddess energy and want nothing more than to connect and unite and be apart of a community of artists who share the same desire and passion.
