Comic book nerds, graphic novel aficionados, fantasy lovers, and all-around fans of the art form are invited to the second annual BAM Black Comix Expo, co-presented by the The Black Comics Collective. During this fun-filled day, you can meet the next generation of black superheroes, hear a panel discussion about women and Afrofuturism, participate in a children’s art workshop, take part in a superhero cosplay showcase, and engage in a unique VR experience. This expo demonstrates the demand for diversity and representation across sci-fi and fantasy genres by presenting a range of acclaimed independent comic writers and illustrators, as well as the freshest emerging talent.
