It’s a new year! New beginnings! New Babies! The first baby of New York 2014 was born right here in Brooklyn! A beautiful baby girl named Shannon Lee Willis was birthed into this world exactly at 12:00! Go Girl!

Shannon was born at New York Methodist Hospital in Park Slope to parents, Samantha Nieves and Shannon Willis at a healthy 7 pounds, 3 ounces and 19 inches long!

Shannon’s mother Samantha told CBS 2’s Scott Rapoport ” That was her plan, to come on New Year’s. She told Daddy in a dream that she’ll be here on New Year’s to see him, and she was.”  That is too sweet!
