Brooklyn has become the backdrop of many movies recently and “The Drop” is one of them.

The new crime-drama from Academy-Award Nominee Director, Michaël R. Roskam, follows a lonely Brooklyn bartender, Bob Saginowski played by actor, Tom Hardy. The movie tells the story of the “underworld” of Brooklyn bars as Hardy’s character gets sucked into the criminal world of holding money for local gamblers and then find himself stuck in between a robbery gone wrong.
